In a murderous episode reminiscent of London's Jack the Ripper, the Croydon Cat Killer has butchered and mutilated more than 50 animals (mostly cats) in the Croydon, England area, taking “trophies” with him before dumping the creature’s disfigured body on or near the owner’s home. Stunning video shows family cat saving toddler from attacking stray dog

This stunning video appeared on CNN today and shows a family cat saving a small boy from a viscous dog attack. In the video, the boy can be seen playing on his bicycle when the stray dog approaches him from the rear. The dog attacks, grabbing the boy by the leg and dragging him across the yard toward the street. From the right of the video, the family cat (Tara) comes screeching into frame knocking the attacking dog off the boy and chasing it away. The video was captured in the late afternoon on 5/13/2014 by the family’s security cameras outside their home in Bakersfield, California. Serial kitty killer in Yonkers – bodies of more than 25 cats found hanging from tree

Yonkers, New York residents and city officials were horrified to find the bodies of at least two dozen dead cats hung from a tree near Overlook Terrace.  The cats, some of which were badly decomposed and hanging from tree limbs in black bags, were found by public works employees cleaning up trash in an abandoned lot in Yonkers, New York. The skull of each cat had been crushed before the body was placed in a plastic bag and tied to branches of the tree like ornaments.
