What is going on in the skies over Seattle? Second mysterious hi-tech spy airplane seen flying above city

I wrote back in August 2017 about an exotic spy plane that had been circling above Seattle suburbs for several days. When reporters contacted the US military to ask if the gray plane with USAF-style serial numbers was theirs, they denied any knowledge of the plane or its mission. However, researchers noted that the serial number of the aircraft was one of six serial number sequences commonly associated with the top secret 427th Special Operations Squadron. Nobody could understand why a spyplane would conduct missions over Seattle and the news soon faded.  This week however, another mysterious craft has been spotted in the skies above Seattle – and this time it’s a weaponized AC-130 gunship, the most feared asset in the United States’ military aircraft

An exotic spy plan has been circling above Seattle and its suburbs for days

Reports came out late last week of a spy plane that has been circling ominously over Seattle for nine straight days. No word on what the mission is or what they have been looking for. Flight tracking software revealed its unusual pattern of flight above Seattle and various suburbs. The aircraft itself is a bit of a puzzle too. The surveillance plane was first spotted by aircraft buffs at Boeing Field on July 24, 2017. Reports indicate the plane is an Indonesian-built CASA CN-235-300 transport aircraft (call sign SPUD21) equipped with an unusually exotic array of spy equipment modifications. According to The Drive: “It is covered in a dizzying array of blisters, protrusions, humps and bumps. These include missile approach warning detectors and large fairings on its

Gates of Hell opened? Mysterious sulfur-smelling fogbank envelopes city of Seattle in dense, smelly fog

Residents of coastal US city of Seattle are mystified at a massive fogbank that has enveloped the entire area in a foul-smelling mist. Just after midnight on January 7, 2015, Seattle citizens began flooding social media networks with tales (and photos) of a large bank of dense fog that rolled across the landscape filling the streets with a pungent, sulphur-smelling odor reminiscent of “manure or pulp mills”. Others described the odor as smelling like “dead fish”, “sewer water”, “sulfur”, and “a giant flaming bag of manure”.  Nobody (including experts) are quite sure what caused it. Newspapers reported on the event this week with headlines reading “All of Seattle Smelled Like Poop Last Night” and “The Stink-Fog that Coated Seattle” – but none could offer an explanation for

Why have more than a dozen human feet washed up on the shores of the Pacific Northwest?

Note: See updates at bottom or article. As of 2014, police say they do not think a serial killer is responsible for the mystery feet but can’t totally rule out the possibility after the 15th human foot washed up on the shores of the Seattle waterfront this week. Since 2007, an average of two human feet per year have washed up on a 125-mile of shorefront along the Pacific Northwest. The human foot found on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 was wearing a size 10-1/2 white New Balance tennis shoe and was found on the shore at Centennial Park, just north of downtown Seattle. The first mystery human foot was found on August 7, 2007 on a beach at Jedediah Island by a young girl who found the foot

Green River Killer – Gary Ridgway murders nearly 50 prostitutes in the Seattle-Tacoma area

Introduction The crimes, methods, and bizarre behaviors of serial killers never cease to amaze us. Sadly, the most interesting cases are typically the ones that baffle authorities and allow the killer to ply his trade unhindered, upping his body count as the murderous days tick by. The name of this case derives from the Green River, a river that begins in Washington State and empties into the Puget Sound in Seattle. Near the river is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac), built in 1942. As with any international airport, the area around it quickly grew as businesses sprouted to cater to the many travelers who crossed through its gates. One major throughway that runs near the airport is Aurora Avenue.  Just off the Pacific Coast Highway, Aurora Avenue is

The Kenneth Arnold Sighting – first UFO report

About the Kenneth Arnold UFO Sighting On June 24, 1947, Kenneth Arnold saw something that would not only change his life forever, but his experience also served as a catalyst for our modern UFO craze.  His report after seeing nine unidentified flying objects, is generally considered to be the first widely reported UFO sighting in the United States. Kenneth Arnold Sighting Arnold, a recreational private pilot, was returning home from a flight in Wyoming when he received a radio signal requesting assistance in the Yakima, Washington area.  It seems there was a missing troop transport and a aerial search party was being assembled. At 3:00 p.m., flying at 9,000 feet, a bright flash of light caught Arnold's attention.   Turning to look our of the side window of his

The unsolved D.B. Cooper hijacking (skyjacking) of Boeing Flight 305

D. B. Cooper – Legendary Skyjacker D. B. Cooper hijacked a Boeing 727 aircraft in the United States on November 24, 1971, received $200,000 in ransom, and parachuted from the plane. The name he used to board the plane was Dan Cooper, but he became known as "D. B. Cooper". No conclusive evidence has ever surfaced regarding Cooper's true identity or whereabouts, and the bulk of the money has never been recovered. Several theories offer competing explanations of what happened after his famed jump. To date it remains the only unsolved U.S. aircraft hijacking case. The Hijacking On Wednesday, November 24, 1971, a man travelling as Dan Cooper (aka D.B. Cooper) hopped aboard a Northwest Airlines Boeing 727 flying from Portland International Airport to Seattle, Washington. Described as
