Nuremberg Germany UFO Battle (1561)

Nuremberg Battle One of the earliest of documented sightings of aerial phenomena took place on April 4, 1561 at dawn over Nuremberg, Germany. What was described as a war in the heavens, with a wide variety of craft ranging from spheres to spear-like cylinders to crosses and "plates". The sky was apparently filled with the machines, clashing in battle for well over an hour.  The battle was such that a winner was perceived as well.  Spheroid UFOs were seen emerging from cylindrical 'motherships'.  At the conclusion of the battle, it seems a magnificent, black, spear-like super-ship of some kind came upon the scene.  An ancient woodcut (click image to view full-size picture) was created by Hans Glaser to document the event.  A second woodcut was created by

The Hopeh China Sighting (1942)

Hopeh China Photograph A young Japanese student Masujiro Kiryu, was going through his fathers scrapbook of photographs from the China Campaign, just before World War II, when he discovered a strange cone-shaped object in the sky above a Tsientsien Street.  In the photograph, a number of people in the street are looking up and two are pointing up at the object (click on picture for full-size view).  A sidewalk photographer snapped a picture of the strange machine and his father bought it from the street vendor for a souvenir of the place.  The sidewalk photographer was later discovered to be an American man on duty who was walking the streets of the northern Chinese town.  The American thought it was a "hat" silently blowing across the

Strange Lights in the Sky On July 15, 2001, the weather in Carteret, New Jersey was perfectly clear and calm. There were no clouds in the sky and all stars were clearly discernible. Around 12:30 AM on that Sunday morning, phones at the Carteret Police Station began ringing off the hook. The Phoenix Lights – UFO sighting witnessed by thousands of people (1997)

Strange  lights reported over Phoenix, Arizona On March 13, 1997, one of the most massively witnessed UFO sightings occurred in the skies over and around Phoenix, Arizona.  Witnessed by thousands of people and photographed by hundreds, there is no doubt that something was seen over the skies of Phoenix that night.  The question remains - what did they see? Introduction to Rendlesham Forest Rendlesham Forest is located in Eastern England near the Royal Air Force Base at Woodbridge, Suffolk.  Nearby is another RAF base - Bentwaters.  The two bases are separated by a small strip of woods called Rendlesham Forrest.  Both bases are renowned for their unusual military activities and top secret research - mustard gas was tested near these bases during the earlier World Wars.  Top secret radar experiments (code named Cobra Mist) were conducted here too.  Both bases, known as the "twin bases", are leased to United States military. UFOs over Washington (1952)

Radar Warnings In the summer of 1952, Washington National Airport and Andrews Air Force Base became quite alarmed when radar picked up several flying objects over Washington D.C.  Even more alarming, coordinates indicated that he objects were flying directly over the White House and the United States Capitol. Around midnight on July 19, 1952, radar operators at Washington National Airport noted several 'blips' on the radar over Washington D.C. On May, 11 1950, in McMinnville, Oregon, Mrs. Trent was in her backyard feeding their rabbits when she noticed a strange object in the overcast sky. In a panic, she ran into the house and called to her husband who was in the kitchen grabbing a bite to eat. Introduction On June 24, 1947, Kenneth Arnold saw something that would not only change his life forever, but his experience also served as a catalyst for our modern UFO craze.  His report after seeing nine unidentified flying objects, is generally considered to be the first widely reported UFO sighting in the United States. Belgium UFO Wave

Belgium UFO wave On November 29, 1989, Belgium citizens, including several large groups of people and three groups of police officers, reported seeing a large triangular shaped craft flying at low altitude over the Belgium countryside. The reported UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) was flat with bright lights underneath that changed colors (red, green, and yellow). The object flew low to the ground without making a sound. Cross checking the various reports revealed that the object travelled from the town of Liege towards the borders of Germany and the Netherlands. Before the night was over, the object would be sighted by over 1,500 people on the ground resulting in seventy different police reports and would trigger a military response from the Belgium military. The 2009 Norwegian spiral anomaly – spiral-shaped UFO witnessed by thousands in Norway

It is not uncommon to see unusual lights in the skies of Norway.  The Hessdalen Lights have been reported in Norway since the 1800’s.  But in 2009, a light was spotted in the skies above Norway that made other glowing-light UFO sightings pale by comparison.  Called the “Norwegian spiral anomaly” or “Star Gate”, the UFO was visible to thousands of awe-struck Norwegians and photographed extensively, from Norway to Sweden.  The event occurred on December 9, 2009 and lasted from 2-3 minutes (some sources say it lasted up to 10 minutes).  It consisted of a blue beam of light that came from behind a mountain with a grayish spiral-shaped hue of light emanating from it.
