As part of China’s Chang’e-4 lunar lander mission, the Yutu-2 rover has been roaming around on the far side of the moon since early 2019. On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, it discovered an unusual cube-shaped object on the horizon which CNSA (the equivalent of USA’s NASA) named the “mystery house”.
The Yutu-2 rover had travelled over a mountain range and stopped to photograph a 360-degree picture of the newfound area. The rover’s remote driver zoomed the picture and noticed an unusual “cube” on the northern horizon. The cube is about 100 yards wide and will take about 2-3 days to reach.
