The Winchester Rifle, �the rifle that won the West�, was a revolution in gun design. Designed and developed by Oliver Winchester and utilized by the United States� military branches, the gun�s unique lever action design produced unrenowned riches for Oliver and his heirs. After a series of tragedies drove one of the heirs to madness, the spoils of war were used to build one of the most unusual homes in the United States.

You can't be in two places at the same time. Or can you? Many believe that each of us has a "doppelganger", an exact duplicate or ghostly twin, that occasionally stalks its better half. Doppelgangers, or "Fetches", commonly appear when a person is deathly ill or shortly before a person dies. German for "double walker", doppelgangers rarely appear side-by-side with heir counterpart but often conduct the same affairs as their counterpart including visiting and talking with family and friends.

One of the most beloved sideshow freaks, Schlitzie, with the mind of a 3-year-old, was sold by his parents to the circus when he was a young child, toured with circuses all over the world, and starred in several Hollywood movies.  Suffering from a birth defect which caused his face to be normal sized but his forhead and cranial area only half the size of a norman man's head, here's the story of how Schlitzie began his amazing career as a circus sideshow freak.

Finding the earliest version of any given common fairy tale is an almost impossible endeavor. Before the Grimm Brothers gathered their collection of well-known German folk fairy tales, these stories followed an oral tradition, being passed on from grandmother to mother to children. What you may not know is that these earliest oral versions of our most popular fairy tales, and in some instances the earliest print version, are far from the clean-cut “good guy always wins” tales we utilize to lull our children to sleep at night. The earlier versions of our classic fairy tales included stories of murder, cannibalism, incest, rape, and various other despicable acts.

Located on the south shore of Nova Scotia, Canada, there is a grouping of 360 small islands in an area known as Mahone bay. Amongst those islands is a 140 acre piece of land known as Oak Island. Sitting only 35 feet above sea level, the island’s history tells of an impenetrable cache of treasure located in a vault known as the Money Pit . Since as early as the 1700’s, adventurers have tried to infiltrate the Money Pit and lay claim to the bounty. Many of died while trying and o date none have succeeded.

From 1764 to 1767, strange beast terrorized the province of Gevaudan. Located in the modern day district of Lozere, deep within the Margeride Mountains in south-central France, the creature was a wolf-like animal that devoured the local citizens. During the period there were 210 attacks resulting in 113 deaths. Almost all of the victims were partially eaten. What the beast was has never been determined.

Rarely talked about or mentioned in the mainstream news, the Russian Business Network possesses the capacity and computing power to shut down the Internet for entire countries.  When the University of California began investigating the company, it's entire network was knocked off the web within hours.  Experts believe that the majority of all Internet identify theft, spam, malware, and child pornography originate from them.  RBN represents a terrifying security threat to the United States and its citizens.  Why is this hushed up?

Ilsa Koch, wife of the German commander of the Buchenwald concentration camp from 1939 to 1942, Colonel Karl Koch, was notorious for her perversion and cruelty. Known as the Witch (or Bitch) of Buchenwald, she acquired the reputation of a sadist and nymphomaniac beating the prisoners with her whip and requiring that they participate in bizarre orgies. Her atrocities were so gruesome, even the Nazis were appalled.

The Danish publish a religious cartoon satirizing the Muslim prophet Muhammad, the Muslims begin shouting about it, it becomes big news and gets published in even more publications, and the United States jumps in and stirs things up even more.
